On April 18th, the Altos del Cervantes venue in Tandil was dressed up to host a new edition of Negra Mariposa: Live Art. On this occasion, the gathering was much more than a tasting; it was a true celebration of creative metamorphosis, where wine merged with the strokes of Nico Ilustraciones and the tradition of authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Art in its Purest Form
The night's main star was Nico Ilustraciones, who not only showcased his talent but also shared it directly with attendees. During the event, a new capsule of wooden cases intervened by the artist was presented, unique pieces that bear the stamp of his personal style on our wine packaging.
One of the most exciting moments was watching Nico create a work live. The creative process, silent and transformative, culminated in a raffle of the piece among participants at the end of the event, allowing a piece of that magical night to go home with one of our followers.
A Sensory Journey in Steps
True to our premise of "transforming wine into art," the pairing was designed to highlight the personality of each label under the expert hand of Insieme Eventos:
- Welcome: Guests were greeted with a refreshing Tinto de Verano, accompanied by a selection of babaganush, hummus, olives, cheeses, and bruschettas.

The Heart of the Night: The gastronomy honored the origin of Neapolitan pizza—made with patience, airy crusts, and selected ingredients—which was served in various forms to pair with our Insignia Collection:
- Bonarda Reserva: Accompanied the classic Margherita and Fugazza.
- Malbec Reserva: Made the perfect match with Pepperoni and Cream with Mushroom pizzas.
- Sweet Finish: The evening concluded with mini delights of cream and red fruits, harmonized with the freshness of our Sangiovese Rosé.
Sharing Without Haste
The Live Art Edition reaffirmed our quest to pause the routine and return to the essentials: a shared table, a quality drink, and the emotional connection that only art can provide. At Negra Mariposa, we believe that the gratitude of these encounters is what truly turns wine into a work of art.
