Jazz & Wine Pairing in Tandil

Last Saturday, June 13, the Altos del Cervantes (@altosdelcervantes) hall once again became the stage for an artistic-gastronomic proposal where the senses were the main protagonists. Organized by Negra Mariposa (@negra.mariposa.vinos) and Insieme Experiencias (@insieme.experiencias), the evening offered a perfect pairing of jazz and wine, creating an atmosphere of sophistication and warmth in the heart of Tandil. The music was led by the Lau Ravioli Jazz Quartet, composed of trumpeter Laura Ravioli (@raviolil), Julián González (@juli_gonzalez645) on piano, Nicolás Schrott (@nicolasschrott) on double bass, and Samuel Carabajal (@samucarabajal_21) on drums. The quartet, which stood out for the strong presence of the trumpet upfront, featured the special participation of singer María de Miguel (@mariademigueltandil), who captivated the audience by performing genre classics with French lyrics.

As the musical notes enveloped the hall, the gastronomic experience began with a reception that included focaccias and a carefully selected variety of hummuses, among which the traditional and babaganoush stood out. The highlight of the dinner arrived with authentic long-fermentation Neapolitan pizzas, which were prepared on the spot by Insieme's master pizzaiolo, respecting the Italian tradition of soft doughs, airy crusts, and high-temperature cooking. To accompany these flavors, attendees enjoyed a tasting of our 2023 Sangiovese Rosé Dulce Natural and the 2021 Malbec Reserva. Towards the end of the event, the night held a special surprise with the presentation of the brand's new releases: a Syrah and a sweet white Torrontés Riojano, both from the eastern region of Mendoza. It was a day of transformation and enjoyment where, once again, we aimed for the gratitude of the gathering to become art.
