Transforming wine into art: Meet "Los Mirones"

Transformando el vino en arte: Conocé a "Los Mirones"

Is it possible to capture the spirit of a wine in a work of art? Alongside Cristian Vulcano, we are taking our varietals to a new stage. Each of our wooden chests is intervened under the concept of improvisation, capturing unique moments through the eyes of Los Mirones. Exclusive pieces designed to be exhibited, celebrating the creativity of Tandil and the power of transformation.

The artist behind Los Mirones de Tandil

Cristian Hernán Vulcano, born in Tandil on June 22, 1985, is a self-taught creator whose passion for art manifests itself in multiple forms, from music to painting. Without formal academic training, he does not consider himself a professional visual artist, but his love for creation and improvisation has led him to explore various fields with a fresh and personal approach. For him, painting began as a hobby to disconnect, but over time it transformed into a means to connect with a wider audience.

Since childhood, Cristian found a space for expression in drawing and painting. His learning has been a path of constant practice and observation of artists such as Milo Lockett, Manuel Paz, and Nico Da Rocha, among other references that have inspired his work. Without clinging to a defined style or technique, his work reflects continuous evolution, incorporating new ideas and experimenting with whatever inspires him at any given moment. From this creative freedom, Los Mirones were born, characters that are now the signature of his personal brand. These figures, which do not yet have proper names, transform in each work, adapting to the design and improvisation, and reflect unique moments full of simplicity.

Cristian's objective when painting combines a personal quest with a desire for connection: to enjoy the creative process, explore new designs, and create works that transmit calm and innocence. His characters seek to offer a respite amidst the daily hustle and bustle, inviting those who observe them to find a moment of tranquility and connection with what is essential.

Collaboration with Negra Mariposa

The collaboration with Negra Mariposa arose as an opportunity to bring Cristian's art to a new stage: wooden wine boxes intervened with his unique designs. This project excited him from the beginning, as it allowed him to share his creations with a new audience. His participation in this initiative is a reflection of his passion for painting and his openness to new ideas, as well as a personal pride in seeing Los Mirones integrated into such a special product.

True to his style, Cristian approached the interventions with improvisation, creating varied designs ranging from evocations of nature and moments of serenity to explosions of free imagination. Wood, as a support, presented challenges that he transformed into opportunities, integrating its natural color as another element of the work, which, according to him, adds a touch of elegance to each piece. Each box is a unique creation, the result of the interaction between the artist, the material, and the ideas that flow in the process.

Cristian hopes that those who acquire these boxes will find in them more than just an object: an emotional connection, a design that invites them to keep or display them, and perhaps even the desire to surround themselves with more creations by Los Mirones. His enthusiasm for this collaboration extends to the possibility of future projects and events with Negra Mariposa, always open to new ways of creating and sharing.

A growing project

Currently, Cristian, together with his partner Agustina, is shaping a dream: a workshop that will be much more than a workspace. This place seeks to be a meeting point to exhibit their paintings, share the creative process, and integrate his partner's talent. The vision is to create an environment for events, live acoustic music, and moments of exchange, where art and creativity are the protagonists.

Through his collaboration with Negra Mariposa and his future projects, Cristian Hernán Vulcano invites you to discover an artistic universe full of color, simplicity, and emotion, where each work tells a story and reflects a moment of calm and connection.
